We invite you to experience Flannelgraph Easter with us at CrossPointe.
Flannelgraph Easter invites you to revisit the Easter story you remember from Sunday School and discover the depth, tension, and grace that may have gone unnoticed the first time. From Palm Sunday’s misplaced expectations, to the cross, the empty tomb, and the surprising grace Jesus extends after the resurrection. This Easter series reframes familiar moments with renewed wonder.
GOOD FRIDAY - APRIL 3rd
Our weekend begins on Good Friday at 7pm with worship and an acknowledgement of the Lord's sacrifice concerning His death and burial. Good Friday invites you to explore the deeper “why” behind the cross, looking at the story of sin and sacrifice through transformation stations and flannelgraph teachings.
EASTER SUNDAY - APRIL 5th
We have a lot happening on Easter Sunday, with services and activities for all ages. The schedule is below:
9:30 am-10:30 am
Start your morning off with a free hot breakfast in our gym! You can come down at any time during this period. Hint: "The early bird gets the worm".
9:30 am-10:30 am
Families can begin at our Pointe Kids desk for "Created New" activities: Parents and children will move through four unique stations, starting with creation and ending with the resurrection. The stations help children understand the wonder of creation and the significance of the resurrection of Jesus. Activities will begin in room 309. Please head to the Pointe Kids desk when you arrive. If you need assistance locating the Pointe Kids desk, any of our welcome team partners will be happy to help!
10:30-10:45am
Head to our sanctuary for a special video presentation from 231 Worship.
Doubting Thomas
In Sunday School, we often learned to label Thomas as “the doubter.” But in the video, Thomas, we see how Jesus responded. When Thomas couldn’t believe the resurrection, Jesus didn’t turn him away. He offered what Thomas needed. This video reminds us that Jesus welcomes questions and meets people personally, even in their weakest moments.
The Restoration of Peter
Peter’s denial of Jesus reveals a deeper truth about grace that often goes unnoticed. This video offers a powerful message for anyone carrying guilt, shame, or regret. It reframes grace not as something that chases us down after we fall, but as something that leads the way back to Jesus.
10:45am
Join in a time of praise and worship followed by a powerful message from our lead Pastor, Bobby Kelly
